I am a little surprised that my position in NFI was not exercised. If my calculations are correct the stock goes ex-dividend for a $1.40 dividend. Today the stock closed at $30.57, thus in the money. When it goes ex it should drop to about $29, out of the money. At that point I assume the option will expire worthless and I will get the dividend. I have not done this before so I will post the actual events.
My other holding, ENCY, took a hit today due to an unfavorable FDA ruling. Fortunately (or great planning!) my position was deep in the money and remains in the money (just not so much). Expected return remains as planned.
